U.S. Applies New Sanctions On Russia

The United States announced a new round of sanctions against seven senior Russian officials and 17 companies linked to President Vladimir Putin.

In an effort to increase pressure on Vladimir Putin United States government announced a new batch of “targeted” sanctions against seven senior Russian officials and 17 companies linked to the inner circle of President Vladimir Putin to punish what he called “provocations” in Ukraine.

In a statement, the White House spokesman reported measures against seven government officials, “including two members of the inner circle of President (Vladimir) Putin” and also against seventeen companies linked to the president, and other measures.
