U.S. Announces Sanctions Against Russia

Obama said economic sanctions and visa cancellation against Russians intervened in Ukraine.

U.S. President Barack Obama warned that “stand firm” and “united” with its international partners and allies if Russia continues to violate international law with its intervention in the Ukrainian Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

He also signed an executive order that would allow the U.S. to impose financial sanctions on Russia and even a suspension of visas for those involved in the “destabilization of Ukraine“, including military intervention in Crimea.
