A woman drove in the opposite direction
A vehicle going the wrong way on Highway 60 in Diamond Bar killed five women and a man early this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The driver of the red Chevrolet Camaro caused the accident was identified as Olivia Carolee Culbreath, 21 years of age. She drove the wrong way on at least a mile on Highway 60 just before 5 am today, officials said, until he crashed head-on into a Ford Explorer. While Culbreath is in stable condition in the hospital, the two people who accompanied died.
As reported by CBS2, CHP officers said they found evidence of alcohol consumption within the car Culbreath, who faces charges of suspicion of driving under the influence and manslaughter.
