Obama Promises Help To Arkansas After Tornadoes

The president promised that the federal aid will continue until the last reconstruction.

Obama visited Arkansas since 2006

President Barack Obama on Wednesday visited one of the town’s most devastated by the recent tornadoes that devastated large areas of the southeast, and promised to Arkansas officials that the federal government support will continue until the reconstruction is finished.

In his first trip as president to Arkansas, a traditionally Republican state had not visited since 2006, Obama ran on Wednesday shattered streets of Vilonia, a town where a tornado killed 15 people and widespread damage on 27 April, as part of storms that affected six states.

After his brief stop in Arkansas, Obama took off for Los Angeles.
