A threat in less than 140 characters!
A threat is a threat and no matter what is written on the Internet in less than 140 characters. If you read the police, it may cost you a trip to jail.
At least that was the case of a man who was behind bars after the Department Los Angeles Police (LAPD) arrested him for publishing a photo on Twitter where a rifle was seen pointing to the street with a very unusual legend .
“100 RT’s (Reps) and shot someone walking” wrote Dakkari McAnuff, a man 20 years of age.
According to LAPD around 9:00 Wednesday morning, officers from the Central Station of the police force received information possible publication on Twitter that threatened public safety.
The researchers began the investigation and identified McAnuff as the account owner.
Officers arrived at the suspect’s home located in the 700 block of Ninth Street, and after finding a BB gun in the home, were taken into custody.
McAnuff was formally accused of criminal threats and was given a $ 50,000 bond.
